In 2019, Allison Drake founded Kissed Studio, located in Uptown Dallas. Allison knew spray tanning had a bad reputation and was disappointed in low quality solution, smell, and the overall experience offered. Competing in pageants and being a professional model for over 10 years, she knew that spray tanning was a crucial part of the finished look. Allison began her mission to create an experience that would produce a natural look and make you feel proud of being spray tanned.
Kissed Studio is an upscale tanning boutique that specializes in custom airbrush tans. Known for our solution catered to match undertones, a no orange promise, and added perfume, we guarantee the perfect kiss.
A message from Allison
“Spray tans have a bad rap. I know this firsthand. Whenever I share that I own a spray tan studio, I'm met with looks of surprise and confusion. “I would never get a spray tan," is a something I've heard multiple times from friends and family. I don't blame them for being off-put. Spray tan horror stories are common, and with the orange-type that was popular in the early 2000s, it makes sense that people are cautious.
Well, it's 2020 and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Today, spray tans are as subtle and sophisticated as ever. With proper preparation and after care, I will make you fall in love with your skin! I have spray-tanned all types of skin, and seen, as well as listened to, every single body hang-up out there. Working each week with vulnerable bodies and listening to clients describe every single hang-up on the planet made me realize everyone has issues. We all have that bit we hate. So I know 100% how it feels to hate your body, but life is too short to focus on the negative. At Kissed, I encourage you to enjoy and accept love for your self. You deserve to be kissed.”
